Alana Dunlop is a writer based in Montreal, Canada / Tiohtià:ke.
Her work has been published in ROOM, THIS Magazine, and
Contemporary Verse 2, among others, and she was recently
nominated for a Pushcart Prize for her short story “The Big Thing.”
In 2023, she received a Canada Council for the Arts grant to
write her debut short story collection exploring queer subcultures
and art Montreal. She is currently working towards her MA in
Creative Writing & English Literature at Concordia University.
